We are seeking a Senior Cost Accountant to join our team in Taneytown, MD , supporting operations with financial analysis, project accounting, and cost reporting. What You’ll Do: Lead month-end close activities related to inventory and cost accounting Perform percentage of completion accounting and project cost reporting Process journal entries and run balance sheet reconciliations Work closely with Project Managers on project margins and cost analysis Conduct standard cost roll processes and data analysis for cost trends Provide insights and recommendations to improve financial processes Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies What We’re Looking For: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 5+ years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment Strong knowledge of standard costing, POC accounting, and fixed assets SAP proficiency is required Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial reporting tools Strong communication and problem-solving skills High level of adaptability and ability to work independently Why Join Us?
