Repair Technician

• The Repair Technician is responsible for testing, diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial electronic and automation equipment for both company inventory and customer-owned equipment. This position also assists with the design and construction of diagnostic equipment and the configuration or customization of drives and related equipment based on customer requirements.

• Test, diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair incoming inventory.
• Diagnose and repair customer-owned equipment.
• Design and build diagnostic components and test equipment as needed.
• Build, configure, or customize drives and related equipment for customer applications.
• Follow established Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and electrical safety procedures.
• Participate in training and continuing education to expand technical and repair capabilities.
• Monitor and maintain an appropriate inventory of parts and supplies needed for repair operations.
• Meet productivity, quality, and performance goals established by management.
• Maintain an organized and efficient work area.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience with drive repair, industrial electronics, electrical work, or a related field is preferred.
• Knowledge of electrical safety procedures and safe work practices is preferred.

• Ability to occasionally climb or use ladders while working with inventory or equipment.
• Ability to frequently move, lift, or handle boxes, parts, and equipment weighing up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to communicate information and instructions clearly and effectively.
• Ability to safely work with electrical and electronic equipment.
