Sales Engineer

For our client, we are seeking a Sales Engineer to join the team of a leader in the Telecommunications & Hardware space. This role will support a sales organization focused on technical selling within service provider markets, helping customers evaluate and adopt testing and measurement solutions. The position combines customer-facing engineering support with sales enablement, technical demonstrations, and solution design. It will also partner with internal stakeholders to strengthen product acceptance and accelerate business opportunities. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $100,000 – $120,000 annually Responsibilities Support the sales team by promoting testing equipment in service provider markets. Provide technical support at trade shows and customer demos. Develop sales training programs with management. Ensure customers are trained on testing solutions during field evaluations. Manage technical aspects of lab evaluations for product approval. Respond to RFPs with coordination of technical requirements. Maintain demo materials and provide ongoing product support. Create custom solutions and test automation for customer needs. Educate customers through technology seminars on testing solutions. Foster strong customer relationships to support product acceptance. Qualifications 5+ years of experience in an Applications, Solutions, Support Engineer, or related role. Hands-on experience in fiber networks and testing standards. Strong knowledge of Ethernet and transport protocols. Degree in Engineering, Technology, Telecommunications, or Optics. Relevant industry certifications such as FOA, FBA, RCDD, DCDC, or CCNA are advantageous. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to travel at least 50%.
