MEP Project Manager

This position is for a project manager, with the ability to generate budgets and estimates for new projects, handle running multiple projects at once, managing the fiscal portion of multiple projects, issue and manage subcontracts, engage in client interfacing and supporting field installation on projects from beginning to end. The position may require travel outside the Chicagoland area, however 95% of the workload will take place in the greater Chicago metropolitan region. It is currently not anticipated that the individual will perform work requiring overnight stays away from home. The individual will not be required to go to an office every day, however can work out of the main office if so desired. Job Responsibilities Generating estimates and budgets including conceptual estimating Negotiating contracts with clients, suppliers and subcontractors Communicating effectively with clients, subcontractors, field crews and others related to each project Issuing and managing subcontract documentation including contracts themselves as well as insurance Managing cost control aspects on projects including schedules of values, invoices, G702/703, cost reporting and projections Manage self‑performed labor Performing responsibilities with respect for self and company Ideal Candidates Running multiple construction projects at Experience relating to mechanical systems and major equipment.
