Physician Assistant (PA) Opportunity

A well-established, not-for-profit community hospital is seeking a physician assistant (PA) to join its family medicine outpatient practice in Southbury, Connecticut. Candidates with a background in family medicine or primary care will be considered.

This is a full-time, permanent outpatient position providing comprehensive primary care services to patients across all age groups. Both experienced providers and new graduates with strong clinical training are encouraged to apply.

Essential responsibilities include providing comprehensive primary care services, diagnosing, treating, and managing common medical conditions across all age groups, performing annual physicals, wellness visits, and health assessments, ordering, reviewing, and interpreting diagnostic tests and laboratory results, collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams, maintaining accurate and timely documentation in the EMR, participating in quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based care delivery, and educating patients on disease prevention, treatment plans, and healthy lifestyle choices.

Qualifications include a master's degree from an accredited physician assistant program, active Connecticut PA license (or eligibility), board certification as a physician assistant (PA-C), training focus in family medicine or primary care, and all experience levels are welcome; new graduates encouraged to apply.
