Our busy optometry clinic in Garland is looking for a friendly, dependable, and detail-oriented Assistant Manager to help keep our office running smoothly and ensure every patient feels cared for from start to finish. What You’ll Do Welcome patients, handle check-in/check-out, and keep the schedule moving. Verify vision and medical insurance benefits (training provided—bring your eagerness to learn). Provide clear, simple explanations of patients’ benefits and quotes. Assist with daily office operations, staff support, and accurate recordkeeping. Lead by example with positivity, professionalism, and teamwork. What We’re Looking For A great attitude and strong organizational skills—experience is a plus. Medical clinic or optometry office experience is strongly preferred, but we’re happy to train the right motivated candidate. Friendly, dependable, and motivated to keep patients happy and the office efficient. Comfortable learning new systems and handling details with accuracy. Must be available Mondays, Fridays, and Saturdays (our busiest day). Pay & Perks $16.00 – $20.00 per hour, depending on experience and skills. Weekly/monthly bonus opportunities when clinic goals are met. Paid training (4–5 weeks, may include training at nearby clinics—mileage reimbursed).
