The CSO will be responsible for defining and implementing a unified scientific strategy that encompasses all stages of the development process, from discovery to commercial interface. This pivotal role involves prioritizing pipeline assets, leading R&D operations, and ensuring scientific excellence and operational rigor across all programs. The successful candidate will also be tasked with guiding the development of internal capabilities, managing external partnerships, and serving as a scientific ambassador with regulatory agencies and industry partners. Applicants for the CSO position at the company must have a PhD, PharmD, or MD in a relevant scientific discipline, with a preference for organic chemistry. A minimum of 10 years' progressive senior leadership experience in biotech or biopharma is required, with a proven track record of advancing programs through various stages of development. The role demands a deep understanding of global regulatory frameworks and experience in major submissions. The ideal candidate will have a history of managing complex scientific organizations, evaluating external innovations, and possess strong communication skills for public representation in scientific and clinical settings.
