Clinical Nurse - Observation UnitThe Clinical Nurse/Registered Nurse works in a collaborative environment at Holy Cross Health within the Observation Unit to deliver excellent patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team providing evidence-based medicine and individualized patient care. This position is a great opportunity to work in an organization that focuses on treating the whole person.Job Title: Clinical Nurse - Observation Unit Schedule/Shift: Full-Time / 36 hours weekly / Night ShiftLocation: Silver Spring, MarylandAs a Registered Nurse you will :Provide direct nursing care to oncology, med/surg, and hospice patients.Administer medications, including chemotherapy (if certified), and monitor for side effects.Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive care plans.Offer emotional support and education to patients and families.Participate in discharge planning, pain management, and palliative care coordination.Document patient progress and communicate effectively with care teamMinimum Qualifications:Graduation from an accredited nursing program; basic professional nursing degree (BSN) preferred. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates.
