The organisation works globally on poverty alleviation through clean water and sanitation (WASH), healthcare, education, food security, and emergency relief programmes.### Role responsibilities* Day-to-day financial operations: invoice management, payroll processing, bank reconciliation, transaction tracking* Maintain organised, current financial records and documentation* Prepare financial statements and management reports* Develop and administer annual budgets* Ensure compliance with federal and state nonprofit regulations and grant requirements* Review and enhance internal accounting controls and procedures* Manage accounts payable and receivable workflows* Coordinate with external auditors during annual audit cycles* Support fund accounting and grant reporting### Requirements* CPA credential (or actively pursuing certification)* Minimum 3 years professional experience in financial management* Proficiency: QuickBooks, Microsoft Office* Preferred: nonprofit or charitable sector background, knowledge of nonprofit accounting standards, grant reporting, fund accountingSenior-level position. Full-time with remote-eligible arrangements.
