Summary: The Warehouse Clerk is responsible for supporting warehouse operations by receiving, storing, issuing, and maintaining inventory in accordance with company policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs), and applicable regulatory requirements. The Warehouse Clerk ensures the accurate movement of materials throughout the facility while maintaining inventory accuracy, warehouse organization, and compliance with safety standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Includes the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Receiving and Inventory Control

Receive incoming raw materials, packaging components, supplies, and finished goods.

Verify shipments against purchase orders, packing slips, and receiving documentation.

Inspect incoming materials for damage, discrepancies, or shortages and report issues to management.

Accurately enter receiving transactions into inventory management systems.

Label and identify materials in accordance with company procedures.

Transport materials to designated staging, quarantine, or storage locations.

Pick, stage, and issue materials to Production, Packaging, Pharmacy, and other departments as required.

Ensure materials are distributed accurately and in a timely manner to support production schedules.

Perform inventory transfers and stock replenishment activities.

Maintain proper stock rotation practices, including First Expired, First Out (FEFO) and First In, First Out (FIFO) requirements.

Assist with cycle counts and physical inventories.

Investigate and report inventory discrepancies.

Education: Less than high school education (graduate or GED preferred); or up to one month of related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Ability: Strong communication skills, both verbal and written (Report Writing) (Data Analysis)

Some knowledge of Spanish is helpful.

Math Ability: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Mechanical Measurement required

Supervisory Responsibilities: None.

Work Environment: Employees in this role may be exposed to moving mechanical parts, outdoor weather conditions, and moderate noise levels. Safety compliance is crucial, including adherence to safety rules and accident reporting policies. Reasonable accommodation is available for individuals with disabilities.

Physical Demands: Employees are expected to stand, use their hands for handling, reach, talk, hear, and smell regularly. They may need to walk, stoop, kneel, twist, and crouch frequently. Tasks often involve pushing and pulling carts, lifting up to 20 pounds, and team-lifting up to 70 pounds. Vision requirements include close and distance vision, as well as depth perception.
