Radiologic Technologist Specializing in Mammography

Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist specializing in mammography for a hospital in St. Helena, CA. The Mammography Technologist will perform specialized breast imaging examinations to aid in diagnosis and treatment of breast disease. The role includes operating mammography equipment, delivering patient-centered care, maintaining image quality and safety, and applying clinical judgment throughout procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT — Radiography (ARRT-R) certification: Required.
• Mammography certification — ARRT-M: Required.
• California Mammographic Radiologic Technology (MRT) license: Required.
• State Radiologic Technologist licensure as required by California: Required.
• Basic Life Support (AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS): Required.
• Experience performing mammography procedures. (Preferred: prior experience as a Mammography Technologist.)
• Willingness to follow facility protocols for venipuncture and fluoroscopy when applicable. (Preferred: venipuncture certification and fluoroscopy license.)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology.
• Experience in hospital-based imaging departments.
• Additional certifications related to breast imaging or advanced mammographic techniques.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 0700-1700.
• Scheduled work pattern: Four 10-hour days set Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday.
• Occasional Friday coverage for PTO backup.
