In this role, you will also provide Tier 1 support for employee inquiries and facilitate the offboarding process. You will need to have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering exceptional HR services. This position reports to Supervisor, HR OperationsWhat we doThe HR Operations team is part of the Human Resources organization. The Human Resources organization is responsible for recruitment, administration, compensation, benefits, training & development, performance management, and employee relations.What you’ll doOnboardingServe as the face of HR for new hires, ensuring a welcoming and informative introduction to SymboticLead new hire orientations and completion of necessary documentationPrepare and distribute onboarding materials, including welcome communications, policies and benefit guidesAssist new employees with system access, benefits enrollment, and initial HR-related questionsTier 1 SupportSupport employees, managers and the business with questions related to HR policies, procedures, and benefitsEscalate complex issues to the appropriate HR team members or departments as neededMaintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretionOffboardingFacilitate the offboarding process for departing employees including applicable exit informationCoordinate with appropriate teams during offboarding process including payroll, IT and HR Business PartnersGeneral HR SupportComplete data entry changes in WorkdaySupport HR projects and initiatives as needed, contributing to the continuous improvement of processesProvide employment verifications as neededSupport employee life events and recognition initiatives including milestone anniversaries, parental leave and bereavementTrack and manage the Symbotic Tuition Reimbursement programWhat you’ll needBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred. May be substituted with equivalent work experience.Minimum of 6 months experience in Human Resources or related field preferredProficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systemsDetail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.Strong ability to take initiative and exercise independent judgementAbility to maintain a high level of confidentiality and handle sensitive and protected information appropriatelyIntermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook), including data tracking and reportingHybrid role based in Wilmington, MA. (3 days a week)Our EnvironmentUp to 10% of travel may be required.
