Our healthcare partner in Pagosa Springs is seeking an experienced Med Surg RN to join their team and provide exceptional care to patients in the Med Surg Unit.

As a Med Surg RN, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care. You will be responsible for:

• Performing comprehensive patient assessments and care planning
• Administering medications, IV therapy, and other treatments accurately
• Monitoring patients for changes in condition and reporting findings
• Documenting assessments and care in the Cerner EHR system
• Providing patient and family education on treatment plans and follow-up care
• Collaborating with providers and interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care
• Maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to safety protocols

Requirements for this role include:

• Minimum of 5 years of Med Surg or Emergency Room experience
• Previous traveler experience
• Cerner EHR/EMR experience
• Graduate of an accredited RN program
• Current Colorado or Compact RN license
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Basic computer skills and electronic health record experience
• Need 2 years experience in setting
