Our entire team is driven by a shared commitment to transforming the landscape of critical care through our rapid seizure detection technology, come join the movement!Position Overview:We are seeking a highly motivated R&D Strategy & Operations Manager to join the Office of the CTO at Ceribell. We are looking for a versatile problem-solver who combines technical literacy, analytical rigor, and project management skills to drive execution of key R&D initiatives. You will partner closely with the Chief of Staff and CTO to ensure smooth operations, effective cross-functional collaboration, and clear communication of priorities. This is an ideal role for someone with a technical background (electrical or mechanical engineering, biomedical engineering, or related) who is eager to expand into a high-impact operations leadership role within a fast-growing MedTech company.What you'll do:Strategic Analysis & ReportingConduct analyses to support technology and operational decision-making (product and R&D road mapping, capacity planning, process improvement, insight generation) Prepare presentations, reports, and briefs for the CTO and leadership team Project & Program Management Drive execution of priority R&D and technology initiatives, coordinating across Product Development, Engineering, Data Science, Operations, Regulatory, Quality and GTM teams Own trackers, dashboards, and status updates to ensure projects remain on schedule Identify risks, dependencies, and escalate as appropriate Special Projects Lead or support ad hoc projects and strategic initiatives in R&D, technology, operations, business systems and external relations Conduct research and benchmarking to inform decision-making What We're Looking For: PhD required. Academic fields could include Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Neuroscience, Biomedical Engineering, or related technical fieldExperience with medical devices is highly preferredPreferred experience with strategic consulting or business strategy and operations with exposure to MedTech product managementStrong project management and organizational abilitiesAbility to independently conduct product research, including literature review, customer interview, competitive analysis, and opportunity assessment Ability to bring structure to complex and ambiguous questions, as well as creating and executing frameworks that will drive towards effective solutionsExcellent written and verbal communicationAbility to travel up to 10% Attributes Technically curious, comfortable engaging with stakeholders across many disciplines and levels Confidence engaging with Executive leadershipHighly adaptable and resourceful Leads with kindness and empathy Able to balance detail orientation with big-picture thinking Has an ownership mentality, with a desire to produce high visibility and high impact work    Compensation Range$150,000—$200,000 USDA candidate’s final salary offer will be based on their skills, education, work location and experience, and thus it may differ from the posted range. Compensation may also include bonuses consistent with Ceribell’s corporate compensation plan.
