Role Description

As a Dual Property Hotel Sales Manager, you will be primarily responsible for driving group revenue across assigned market segments (Leisure, Corporate, Government, SMERF) for the voco St. James Hotel and the Blake Hotel New Orleans. You will manage all sales areas in line with company and brand standards, ensuring strong relationships within the local business community. This is a hands-on role where you will actively secure, qualify, and follow up on leads to achieve each hotel's revenue goals.

Essential Responsibilities

Essential functions of the position include, but are not limited to:

• Proactively solicit new group business through prospecting, networking, referrals, and strategic outreach.
• Develop and maintain targeted account lists and action plans to penetrate key market segments and drive incremental revenue.
• Achieve or exceed established revenue goals for group room nights and total group contribution.
• Conduct outside sales calls locally to generate new business opportunities and strengthen client relationships.
• Represent the hotels at tradeshows, industry events, and networking functions to increase brand visibility and secure new business.
• Respond to all sales inquiries on the day of receipt, and respond within four hours whenever possible.
• Conduct professional and engaging hotel site tours that showcase the property’s guestrooms, meeting space, and dining outlets.
• Maintain consistent communication with clients throughout the sales cycle to ensure a seamless transition from contract to group's arrival.
• Collaborate closely with the Operations teams to ensure the successful execution of contracted groups.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, opportunities, and activity tracking within the hotel’s CRM and sales systems.
• Participate in weekly sales meetings, revenue strategy discussions, and pipeline reviews.

Qualifications

• On-site on the property in New Orleans is required
• Excellent Communication and Customer Service skills
• Proven Sales and Sales Management experience
• Strong Marketing skills
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience in the hospitality industry is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or related field

Location: MUST LIVE IN NEW ORLEANS, IN-OFFICE POSITION

Job Type: Full-Time

Salary: Competitive, based on experience; overtime does apply and is calculated
