Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse with expertise in Labor & Delivery to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients.
• Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families.
• Administer medications and treatments; monitor for side-effects and effectiveness of treatment prescribed.
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided.
• Assesses learning needs and provides education to patients, family members, and care givers.
• Make appropriate assignments and delegate tasks to other care providers to support clinical operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, preferred.
• 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty preferred.
• Current RN License in state of TX or compact state required.
• BLS certification required (AHA only).
• Current certification in AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Heart Monitoring or NCC Electronic Fetal Monitoring.
• NRP and ACLS certifications are required (AHA only).
