HVAC/R Mechanic II Tech

Duration: 6-Month Contract (Temp-to-Perm Potential) Schedule: Tuesday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM Position Summary Seeking an experienced HVAC/R Mechanic II to perform maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance on HVAC and refrigeration systems supporting manufacturing, laboratory, and facility operations. Key Responsibilities Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC/R equipment, including chillers, boilers, compressors, pumps, air handlers, refrigerators, freezers, and environmental chambers. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on facility equipment and control systems. Install and replace components such as motors, bearings, belts, valves, actuators, and related parts. Perform brazing, soldering, and mechanical repairs. Utilize CMMS for work orders, preventive maintenance, and documentation. Follow GMP, safety, and facility compliance requirements. Support continuous improvement and facility maintenance initiatives. Qualifications 5+ years of commercial or industrial HVAC/R maintenance experience. Strong troubleshooting and repair skills for HVAC/R systems and controls. Experience with CMMS; SAP experience is a plus. Ability to work independently in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
