Real Estate Transactional Senior Counsel

Job Overview A law firm seeks a Senior Counsel with over seven years of experience to join their Community Development Finance Practice Group in Los Angeles, CA. The candidate should have substantial real estate transactional experience, including real estate lending and joint venture financing, with a preference for experience in transactions involving tax credits. Duties Draft senior, real estate secured loan documents and joint venture partnership/operating agreements. Review title commitments, recorded documents, and surveys to oversee paralegal title and survey review. Represent lenders, investors, and syndicators in real estate financings qualifying for tax credits. Requirements Licensed to practice in the state corresponding to the office location. Strong writing skills and excellent academic credentials. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Certifications State Bar license. Skills Experience with real estate lending and joint venture financing.
