Job Duties

• Craft Customized Treatment Plans: Assess individual patient needs and design personalized therapy strategies that help them reach their functional targets.
• Implement Therapeutic Interventions: Apply evidence-based practices to improve patients' motor skills, cognitive abilities, and daily living tasks.
• Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work with fellow OTs, PTs, SLPs, physicians, and nursing staff to provide comprehensive, holistic care.
• Educate Patients and Families: Teach patients and their caregivers about effective therapy techniques for continued progress at home.
• Track and Document Progress: Monitor patient outcomes and adapt treatment plans as necessary to ensure progress towards goals.

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university
• Ongoing education or post-graduate certifications are welcomed and encouraged

Certifications

• Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT certification is essential
