Order Entry SpecialistWe are seeking a dedicated Order Entry Specialist to generate customer quotes, enter sales orders, and process order-related documentation with precision and efficiency. This role involves reviewing purchase orders for completeness, following up with customers for any missing details, and maintaining accurate records within our ERP/CRM system. You will coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely order fulfillment and manage order adjustments as needed.Qualifications:2+ years of recent experience in customer support, order entry, or related fields.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.Experience with ERP, CRM, or order management systems.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.Ability to work independently while proactively asking questions.Work Environment:Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a 1-hour lunch break. Fully onsite.Responsibilities:Generate customer quotes and enter sales orders promptly and accurately.Review purchase orders to ensure completeness and accuracy before processing.Follow up with customers regarding order details, revisions, and confirmations.Maintain and update customer, pricing, product, and order information within the ERP/CRM system.Coordinate with internal teams to facilitate order fulfillment, shipping schedules, and delivery timelines.Process return material authorizations (RMAs) and related order adjustments.Monitor open orders and proactively communicate updates and potential delays.Generate and maintain order entry reports and supporting records.Utilize company systems and sales tools including Acumatica, Expensify, Google Docs, and Webex.Support sales operations and provide administrative assistance to internal departments.Ensure accuracy of customer records, pricing information, and order documentation.Contribute to continuous improvement efforts related to order processing and workflow efficiency.Job Type & Location:This is a Permanent position based out of Palatine, IL.Pay and Benefits:The pay range for this position is $23.07 - $25.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
