Local Class B CDL Driver

The Harris Battery Company, Inc. is hiring a CDL Route Delivery Driver for our Bolivar, Ohio location. This is a full-time , local driving position with no overnight routes. We are looking for a dependable driver who values safety, communicates well, and takes pride in delivering great service to customers. Local routes vary by day of the week with regular deliveries to nearby Ohio cities. You’ll operate within a 150-mile radius of Bolivar, Ohio , returning to base daily. Routes may include: Akron, Youngstown, Cleveland, Columbus, and Marietta All routes return to Bolivar the same day. Key responsibilities Operate a 26-foot box truck with liftgate and electric pallet jack Deliver products to commercial and industrial customers within a 150-mile radius Load and unload batteries safely Pick up battery returns as needed Follow DOT regulations and company safety procedures Assist in the warehouse when needed Start and end each route in Bolivar, OH Requirements Valid Class B CDL required , Class A CDL also accepted Hazmat endorsement required by start date Ability to safely lift 50+ lbs Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused Good communication and customer service skills Previous delivery or warehouse experience is helpful, but not required What we offer 401(k) match Health insurance Vision insurance Paid time off Company-paid life insurance Pay and Benefits $23.00 to $30.00 per hour – Overtime available Medical, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off 401(k) with company match Company-paid life insurance Why Join the Harris Battery Company, Inc.
