Your Responsibilities

• Performing comprehensive evaluations of patients, ordering necessary diagnostic tests, and creating tailored care strategies
• Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic illnesses in partnership with physicians or autonomously depending on your qualifications
• Teaching patients and families about preventive measures, wellness, and managing health conditions
• Prescribing required medications and therapies within your practice authority

Educational Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Necessary Certifications

• Valid Nurse Practitioner license in California
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or a relevant specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
