Pepper Construction is looking for a motivated and curious Human Resources Intern to join our Indianapolis team starting Fall 2026.This isn't your typical internship. You'll work alongside experienced HR professionals, contribute to meaningful projects, and gain hands-on exposure to the employee experience from onboarding and training to employee engagement and HR operations. You'll have the opportunity to develop practical skills, build professional connections, and learn what it takes to support a thriving workplace culture.If you're passionate about people, eager to learn, and excited about a career in Human Resources, we'd love to meet you.What You'll DoAs a member of the HR team, you'll have the opportunity to:Support day-to-day HR operations and administrative functionsAssist with employee onboarding and orientation activitiesHelp coordinate training sessions, professional development programs, and employee eventsSchedule meetings and support office-wide initiativesMaintain employee records and ensure data accuracyHandle confidential information with professionalism and discretionAssist with employee communications and engagement activitiesSupport HR projects that contribute to a positive employee experienceGain exposure to employee relations, talent development, and other key HR functionsWhat We're Looking ForCurrently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, Psychology, or a related fieldJunior or Senior standing preferredStrong written and verbal communication skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPointOrganized, detail-oriented, and committed to producing high-quality workAbility to balance multiple priorities and manage time effectivelyComfortable working independently while also collaborating with a teamPositive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learnAbility to work approximately 15 to 20 hours each week in an office environmentPepper Construction is dedicated to offering our employees a comprehensive and best-in-class benefits package that prioritizes their physical, financial, and emotional well-being.
