Introduction We are looking for an experienced Product Manager. As part of our team, you will excel in providing top‑notch HVAC/R solutions through licensed dealers and contractors. Job Summary The Product Manager will lead critical cross‑functional product development of new and existing product lines while identifying, understanding, defining, and prioritizing the future of our product assortment to support our business growth plan. The position will oversee a product sector and be responsible for product assortment, marketing, programs, promotions, product pricing, vendor negotiations, product training, performance analysis, SKU maintenance and non‑performing inventory management. Job Responsibilities Develop and maintain sales strategy with regional representatives for all product offerings (Residential, Commercial, Ductless/VRF, Wholesale (Parts & Supplies) for all sales channels). Implement and communicate all facets of new product introduction from strategy to pricing, marketing, PIM coordination, inventory planning, rollout and execution on all sold channels. Evaluate competitive product and pricing data; communicate with factory and sales teams about advantages, disadvantages, product gaps and voice of customer. Recommend sell price positioning (max and min) to maximize market share and company profit margins. Partner with Regional Pricing and Demand Planning groups to create assortment, pricing, and stocking levels for the Region. Provide oversight and assist regional sell‑through and disposition of all products, parts and supplies. Identify and remove roadblocks that may impair product launches, execution, and deadlines to ensure we meet strategic, sales and marketing goals. Implement internal, external and factory marketing programs in conjunction with Carrier Enterprise HQ and Regional Marketing Directors. Drive new and existing products through the stage gate process and facilitate full product execution launch, managing model supersedes, new SKU set up and designation through all stages of stage gate. Define and drive objectives on product launches and promotions: concept, features & benefits, customer segmentation and pricing strategy. Coordinate with Carrier Corp Regional Product Specific Sales Manager activities with sales team. Provide oversight on all products for CE Regional reporting on a monthly/quarterly cadence for CE leadership, Carrier Corporation and shareholder review. Conduct vendor mid‑year and annual reviews on movement, marketing plans and performance feedback. Support sales teams in all customer channels with joint customer sales calls. Oversee overall regional product specific Market Funds in conjunction with the CE HQ Marketing department. Manage repository of product and parts info, sales, and pricing information to be accessible by all sales team channels. Evaluate, understand, communicate and manage State, Local and National mandates impacting all products and parts segments. Requirements Bachelor's degree. 3–5 years of Product Management, Product Sales experience in a high‑ranking HVAC or related Product Management position. Qualifications Proven track record in the HVAC industry, ideally in product, services, technology, product management or specialized sales capacity. Experience in product marketing, product assortment planning and new product introduction with the ability to leverage new product innovations. Proficiency in Microsoft applications and Salesforce. Strong analytical, technical, verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge of product strategy and its relationship to the Wholesale HVAC industry. Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and track multiple tasks to successful completion. Exceptional leadership and managerial skills. A blend of analytical, creative, strategic and tactical talents.
