Betsy Ross Nursing & Rehab Center is a 120-bed facility offering excellence in rehabilitation and skilled nursing care in a lovely homelike environment that recently underwent a LARGE-SCALE RENOVATION, IS UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT, AND ADMINISTRATION! With a focus on rehabilitation and recovery, our skilled team of therapists and healthcare professionals assist residents in achieving optimal health and well-being. The role of the RN Supervisor is to be responsible for the operation of the nursing department and facility as well as organize and maintain staffing guidelines to meet resident needs.\n \n RN Supervisor organizes, oversees, & supervises assigned unit activities & staff assignments & demonstrates clinical expertise which is consistent with the established standards of Nursing Practice \n RN Supervisor will identify & respond, appropriately & timely, to patient needs \n Monitor, observe, & document vital signs, treatments administered, & patient responses. \n RN Supervisor will administer medications & treatments as needed \n Communicate and direct services ongoing or any plan/concerns/information to appropriate team members, resident, family, or medical staff as needed \n Identify & follow disciplinary action as stated in policy \n Collaborate with interdisciplinary team, physicians, & other vendors'/services \n Perform RN assessment to resident's post incidents or change in condition. \n Lead & direct emergency situations - (Fire alarm, Elopement, etc.) \n Maintain accurate nursing report, staffing sheets, & census roster \n Requirements: \n \n Current & good standing RN License in State of New York \n Experience with geriatric/short term rehab/Alzheimer's patients is desirable \n Progressive nursing experience, supervisory experience preferred \n Dedicated to providing extraordinary, quality, compassionate care to each resident \n Genuinely interested in helping ill, injured, disabled, & elderly \n Have patience & willingness to assist any residents & co-workers \n Have excellent communication, interpersonal, customer service, & organization skills \n Able to work well under pressure, flexible, & will work harmoniously with all staff \n Covid-19 vaccinations are encouraged but NOT MANDATED ; we continue to offer COVID-19 vaccination based on eligibility guidance from CDC \n We are an Equal Opportunity Employer, celebrate diversity, & are committed to creating an inclusive work environment for all!
