Chief Architect - Innovative Medicine Technology

Role
Chief Architect for Johnson & Johnson's Innovative Medicine sector, responsible for defining and governing the technology architecture strategy across R&D, Supply Chain, Commercial, Data, AI, Cloud, Security, and Enterprise Platforms.
Responsibilities
- establish sector-wide architectural vision, principles, standards, and governance; lead a global team of over 20 architects; drive modernization, platform simplification, and technical debt reduction; develop future-state blueprints supporting scalability, security, compliance, and AI-readiness; promote reuse, interoperability, and industry standards; and leverage GenAI to enhance architecture practices.
Qualifications
- Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, IT, Engineering; 15+ years of enterprise technology leadership; experience with global architecture teams, AI/GenAI technologies, cloud, cybersecurity, and regulated healthcare environments.
High-Value
focus on life sciences, healthcare, and regulated environments; expertise in digital platforms, data architecture, AI/ML, and enterprise governance; leading architecture in R&D, supply chain, and commercial domains.
Collaboration
partner with business leaders, product and platform teams, security, and enterprise architecture groups; represent sector architecture in governance and strategic forums.
Work Setup
based in Titusville, NJ, with 15-25% domestic and international travel.
