What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.
- Current Illinois Professional Educator License with science or general education endorsements required.
- Background in curriculum design, lesson planning, and classroom instruction for middle school students.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for collaboration and parent interaction.
- Passion for creating inclusive, interactive, and engaging science lessons.
- Commitment to onsite instruction—remote/virtual applications will not be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate daily 8th-grade science classes aligned with district and state standards.
- Inspire curiosity, critical thinking, and exploration through hands-on experiments and projects.
- Develop and adapt lesson plans to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback and support.

- Maintain classroom discipline and ensure student safety during all school activities.
