This full-time, onsite contract role runs from August 17 through May 27, 2027, and centers around fostering student engagement and growth in the evolving field of technology.

Key Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.
• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (with the necessary Technology or General Education endorsements).
• Solid understanding of curriculum design, lesson planning, and classroom instruction for middle school learners.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities to connect with students, colleagues, and families.
• Previous teaching experience in general education, particularly with grades 7–8, is preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, grade-specific technology lessons for 7th and 8th grade students, promoting digital literacy and problem-solving skills.
• Develop and implement creative lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards and best practices.
• Foster a supportive, inclusive, and interactive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and collaboration.
• Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and adjust instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
• Collaborate with fellow educators, participate in school-wide initiatives, and communicate regularly with parents or guardians.
• Maintain accurate records of student achievement and classroom activities.
