Before applying please note: A personal injury settlement attorney secures maximum financial recovery for clients by leveraging exceptional persuasion, data-driven leverage, and strategic negotiation tactics. This role focuses entirely on breaking through insurance company resistance, overcoming lowball offers, and closing high-value claims without sacrificing the firm's litigation resources.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive settlements : Secure top-tier payouts through aggressive, daily negotiation with insurance adjusters.
- Leverage evidence : Turn medical records, liability facts, and financial losses into compelling case leverage.
- Counter tactics : Identify and neutralize common insurance delay, deny, and defend strategies.
- Advise clients : Guide injured victims through evaluating, accepting, or rejecting settlement offers.
- Manage liens : Negotiate downward medical provider liens to increase the client's net recovery.
- Screen files : Identify uncooperative carriers early to hand off deadlocked files to litigation teams.
Qualifications & Skills
- Negotiation : Proven track record of closing high-volume, high-dollar personal injury settlements.
- Persuasion : Elite verbal communication, psychological framing, and objection-handling skills.
- Experience : 2+ years of aggressive bodily injury claims negotiation (plaintiff or defense).
- Credentials : Active state bar license in good standing with zero disciplinary history.
