Forklift Operator

Position Overview Material Handler position located in Morris, Illinois. Pay: $21.75 per hour. Shift: Monday, Tuesday, Friday & Saturday, 5:30 am – 4:00 pm. Overtime offered. Primary duties include handling foods using a sit‑down forklift and performing loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting. Responsibilities Perform warehouse functions such as loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting. Adhere to performance measurement guidelines of the contract. Accurately pick, pack, audit, induce totes, stage products, and load/unload trucks. Handle day‑to‑day paperwork in a warehouse environment (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.). Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during core shift hours of production. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred. Valid forklift operator’s license certified. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and as a member of a team. Team player able to work in a diverse environment. Proficient in establishing professional relationships with all organizational levels. Highly thorough and dependable. Must be punctual with a good attendance record. Performs work independently with minimal supervision. High degree of initiative. Demonstrates a high level of accuracy, even under pressure. Can lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs. Can stand for long periods of time. Works using health and safety methods. Must be available for a flexible schedule on various work shifts. Detail oriented with excellent follow‑up practices.
