Senior Event Planner

LIMRA and LOMA are prominent organizations in the financial services sector, offering research, training, and networking solutions. This full‑time position is for a Senior Event Planner who will oversee the entire life cycle of key industry events, from conception to post‑event analysis, delivering exceptional customer service. Responsibilities Manage resource needs, pre‑event marketing, onsite coordination, and rigorous follow‑up to ensure event success. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, internal stakeholders, external vendors, and venues, negotiating contracts and managing logistics. Reconcile budgets and ensure fiscal accountability across multiple events annually. Maintain compliance with legal, insurance, health, and safety regulations. Serve as direct point of contact for hotel and venue management. Conduct post‑event data analysis and strategic review to continuously improve event quality and impact. Qualifications Strong communication and collaboration abilities, working effectively with marketing, PR, multimedia, production partners, and speakers. Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and adept at managing multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment. Proven ability to work both independently and in team settings. Passion for event planning, keen initiative, strong work ethic. Experience in budgeting and fiscal management of events (preferred).
