Preschool Behavior Support Aide

Preschool Teacher 40 hours/week; 40 weeks/year Provides developmentally appropriate preschool activities in a safe, active and child-oriented environment; develops lesson plans; arranges for materials and supplies; works closely with the child’s guardian to provide a meaningful classroom experience for the child. Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education required, Bachelor Degree preferred. Elementary Education or other degrees may be considered. Starting Rate of Pay: $20.84/hour for Associate Degree; $23.12/hour for Bachelor Degree Teacher Assistant (Mt. Carmel, Vevay) 40 hours/week; 38 weeks/year Assists the Classroom Teacher in all aspects of the classroom activity, providing a safe, active and child-oriented environment. Requirements: High School Diploma/GED required with on-going professional development to obtain a CDA. Starting Rate of Pay: $15.18/hour Teacher Assistant Substitute 40 hours/week; 38 weeks/year Assists the Classroom Teacher in all aspects of the classroom activity, providing a safe, active and child-oriented environment. Starting Rate of Pay: $15.18/hour Behavior Management Aide 35 hours/week; 40 weeks/year Observes and provides classroom staff/parents resources and appropriate preschool activities related to behavior management. Starting Rate of Pay: $20.84/hour for Associate Degree; $23.12/hour for Bachelor Degree Classroom Aide (Brookville, Sunman) 28 hours/week; 40 weeks/year Essential job responsibilities include food duties (i.e., prep, service, cleanup). Assists the classroom Teacher in all aspects of the classroom activity, providing a safe, active and child-oriented environment. High School Diploma/GED required. Experience as a volunteer in the Head Start classroom would be helpful. Starting Rate of Pay: $13.67/hour Family Service Worker (East Enterprise/Vevay area) 40 hours/week; 48 weeks/year Engages families involved in the Head Start program through home-based services, addressing the complex issues which limit many families in achieving self-sufficiency. High School Diploma / GED required. One year of experience working with families and direct client assistance is required. Once employed, on-going training in family development, including parenting, is required.
