Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' emotional, behavioral, and psychological needs.
\n
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans using effective therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).

• Provide bilingual psychotherapy services in both English and Spanish, supporting a diverse clientele.
\n
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation within Electronic Health Records (EHR) while adhering to all HIPAA regulations.
\n
• Engage in case consultations and collaborative discussions with other professionals to enhance client care.
\n
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, focusing on enhancing clients' coping strategies and personal strengths.
\n
• Develop specialized programs or workshops addressing specific issues such as trauma, grief, LGBTQ+ topics, and perinatal mental health.

• Participate in ongoing training to stay updated on best practices in mental health and therapy methodologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our client population is diverse, encompassing teens, adults, and families from various cultural backgrounds. We recognize that mental health needs may differ based on individual circumstances and cultural influences. As an LMFT at Sunny Valley, you will work closely with clients experiencing a wide range of challenges, such as anxiety, depression, family dynamics, and trauma recovery.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s Degree in Counseling, Marriage and Family Studies, or a related field from an accredited institution.
\n
• Active and unrestricted LMFT license in the state of Pennsylvania.
\n
• Minimum of two years of experience in a clinical mental health setting.
\n
• Demonstrated cultural sensitivity and respect for diverse familial customs and values.
\n
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral, to effectively engage clients and their families.
\n
• Experience in utilizing therapeutic modalities such as CBT, TF-CBT, and EMDR.
\n
• Motivation to learn advanced therapeutic approaches and techniques.
\n
• Understanding of HIPAA regulations and a commitment to maintaining client confidentiality.
\n
• Valid driver’s license and automobile insurance, as some clients may prefer in-person sessions.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working with vulnerable populations, including but not limited to children, adolescents, and individuals in crisis.

• Specialization in areas such as trauma, grief, or LGBTQ+ mental health.

• Previous involvement in community outreach programs or workshops.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 105,000 per year, commensurate with experience, along with performance bonuses.
