Billing Coordinator

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with our client to hire a Billing Specialist for a direct hire opportunity in Downtown Cincinnati. This role is ideal for an experienced billing professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working with high-volume transactions, and is committed to providing exceptional internal and external customer service. Responsibilities Prepare, review, and process customer invoices accurately and in a timely manner. Ensure billing information is complete and compliant with customer and company requirements. Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, invoice adjustments, and payment issues. Coordinate with internal departments to gather documentation and verify billing data. Monitor outstanding invoices and assist with collections activities as needed. Maintain accurate billing records and customer account information. Respond to customer inquiries regarding invoices, account balances, and billing concerns. Reconcile billing reports and support month-end closing activities. Generate billing-related reports and assist management with account analysis. Identify opportunities to improve billing processes and increase efficiency. Qualifications 2+ years of billing, accounts receivable, or accounting support experience. Strong understanding of invoicing, billing procedures, and payment processing. Experience working in an ERP system and Microsoft Excel. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred. Preferred Experience High-volume billing environment. Customer-facing billing support. Account reconciliations and reporting. ERP systems such as NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, or similar platforms.
