Job Family:Operational Effectiveness ConsultingTravel Required:Up to 10%Clearance Required:Ability to Obtain NACIWhat You Will Do:Federal Financial Management Transformation Senior Consultants support federal clients in improving budget and financial management operations by enhancing efficiency, modernizing processes through data analytics and AI-enabled tools, and ensuring compliance with federal regulations. In this role, you will lead and support client engagements by facilitating requirements gathering, designing and implementing solutions to address complex challenges, and driving process improvements to strengthen financial effectiveness. You will build trusted client relationships, contribute to program management and data analysis efforts, and mentor junior team members while applying best practices in communication, monitoring, and evaluation.This position offers strong opportunities for professional growth and skill development. We are seeking self-motivated, outcomes-driven professionals who can independently and collaboratively develop solutions, leverage data to inform strategy and decision-making, and demonstrate intellectual curiosity, innovation, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.Specific Responsibilities Will Include:Collaborate with federal health clients to design and enhance budget and financial management processes across the full budget lifecycleLead and support complex financial transformation efforts using best practices in process improvement, change management, and stakeholder engagementPlan and facilitate meetings and working sessions with stakeholders, including executive-level clients, to gather requirements, identify challenges, and drive alignmentApply critical thinking and analytical skills to collect qualitative and quantitative data (e.g., interviews, focus groups, document and data reviews)Analyze data to generate actionable insights that address complex financial management challenges and support client decision-makingLead the development of key deliverables, including analyses, reports, requirements documentation, SOPs, tools, templates, and dashboardsCommunicate findings and recommendations clearly and effectively to clients, leadership, and diverse stakeholder groupsDeliver high-quality client service in a fast-paced and dynamic environmentBuild and maintain strong relationships with clients and team membersProvide guidance, feedback, and mentorship to junior team membersContribute to a positive, inclusive, and collaborative team cultureLeverage firm capabilities, methodologies, and solutions to enhance client deliverySupport internal initiatives and business development efforts, including proposals and communities of practiceWhat You Will Need:Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "NACI"; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of their NACI prior to onboarding with Guidehouse.
