The Account Support Representative, Southern California is a field-sales professional with experience in diagnostic/genetic testing product sales who will promote a single-gene NIPT carrier and aneuploidy screen to OBGYN clinics and MFMs. You will relay clinical information to external clients and internal teams, influence how the test is communicated, and help evolve it to meet market needs. This role reports to a Regional Manager – Prenatal. Responsibilities and requirements are described in the sections below. Responsibilities Increase utilization of UNITY Fetal Risk Screen and drive market development through direct sales to OBGYNs, MFMs, and Genetic Counselors Identify, develop, and manage commercial relationships with key opinion leaders and other healthcare professionals Prospect and cultivate new business and maintain key relationships Identify and capitalize on commercial opportunities within a defined geography (OBGYN, MFM, GC clinics, hospital systems, and Federally Qualified Health Centers) Create and implement a strategic plan to grow utilization quickly in your geography Manage the full lifecycle of the product sales process, including new business development and lead generation Attend local tradeshows, industry conferences, and networking events Qualifications Minimum three (3) years of outside field sales experience within the healthcare sector, directly calling upon providers in the specified geographic territory Proven sales success, understanding of buyer/decision maker types, strong selling, listening, and presentation skills, and ability to respond to customer needs (national awards a plus) Excellent organizational and communication skills (written and verbal) with demonstrated ability to present to internal and external customers Effective time management with ability to assess and prioritize opportunities Self-motivated, results-oriented, with strong interpersonal and analytical skills; able to think strategically and execute tactically Sense of urgency and focus on closing business Ability to assess the needs of medical professionals with a consultative sales approach and coordination of logistics Desire to work in a startup environment and the ability to work independently Working knowledge of HIPAA laws, privacy, and ethics surrounding patient information Demonstrated values and ethics aligned with BillionToOne’s mission and code of conduct Discretion and professionalism in handling patient and physician information Nice-to-Haves Experience in a startup environment Women’s Health background Clinical laboratory experience Established book of business Collaborative, empowering work environment and a global vision for transformative molecular diagnostics Open, transparent culture with weekly town hall meetings Opportunity to impact patient lives at scale Multiple medical benefit options with premium coverage Generous family bonding leave (paid) Supplemental fertility benefits Retirement savings program with company match Increased paid time off with tenure Latest hardware and facilities Compensation and Benefits We offer a combination of competitive base pay, equity options, a corporate bonus program, and industry-leading benefits, including health coverage, 401k match, and parental leave.
