Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an intensive care unit setting with a focus on neurological patients
• Monitor and assess critically ill patients, identifying and responding to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months of ICU experience
• Strong neurological nursing skills required (Neuro ICU focus)
• Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license (must be in hand at time of submission)
• Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Current AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a dedicated Neuro ICU environment
• Familiarity with neurological monitoring equipment and assessment tools
