We are looking for a Social Media Specialist to support brand storytelling and audience engagement across major digital platforms in New York, New York. This role focuses on shaping platform-specific content, managing daily publishing activity, and helping turn campaign objectives into compelling social experiences. The ideal candidate brings strong judgment, creative instincts, and an analytical mindset to develop content that connects with audiences and supports broader communications goals.
Responsibilities:• Oversee daily social media activity across channels such as Meta, TikTok, X, and Reddit, ensuring content is timely, consistent, and aligned with campaign priorities.
• Build and maintain publishing schedules that organize content rollout, support key initiatives, and keep cross-platform messaging cohesive.
• Create and refine social content, including written copy, visual direction, and short-form video ideas tailored to each platform’s audience and format.
• Engage with online communities by monitoring conversations, responding appropriately, and helping strengthen audience relationships through thoughtful interaction.
• Contribute to platform-specific social strategies that support larger communications objectives and enhance campaign performance.
• Analyze audience behavior and engagement data to develop clear personas and inform content planning decisions.
• Conduct social listening and trend monitoring to identify relevant topics, emerging narratives, and real-time opportunities for content activation.
• Partner with internal stakeholders and communications teams to ensure social output reflects client goals, brand voice, and campaign direction.• Demonstrated experience managing social media channels and supporting content execution across multiple digital platforms.
• Strong understanding of social media strategy, platform best practices, and audience engagement techniques.
• Ability to write clear, audience-focused social copy and contribute ideas for visual and short-form video content.
• Experience using insights, engagement metrics, or social listening findings to guide content recommendations.
• Familiarity with developing content calendars and coordinating day-to-day publishing workflows.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and priorities.
• Knowledge of current social trends, emerging platform behaviors, and evolving digital conversation patterns.
