CNC Mill/Lathe Machinist

CNC Machinist (Haas Mills & Multi-Axis Lathes) All Shifts Available | Competitive Pay + Shift Differentials

We are seeking a skilled and motivated CNC Machinist to join our growing team. In this role, you will operate and set up Haas mills and multi-axis lathes to support both short-run and long-term production. This is an excellent opportunity for machinists looking to expand their skill set in a clean, climate-controlled manufacturing environment with strong growth potential.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate CNC multi-axis lathes and Haas milling machines
• Perform machine setups, including proper tooling selection and adjustments
• Conduct tool changes and ensure machine readiness
• Inspect finished parts using dial micrometers, digital calipers, and height gauges
• Perform minor CNC program edits as needed
• Complete production documentation using iPads and digital systems
• Manage both short production runs (810 parts) and long runs (multi-day)
• Perform 23 machine setups per week
• Maintain quality standards and production efficiency

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ year of recent CNC machining experience (mills or lathes)
• Hands-on experience with machine setup and tooling
• Ability to use precision measuring instruments
• Strong attention to detail and quality

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with multi-axis lathes
• Experience with Haas CNC mills
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints/technical drawings
• Experience running both mills and lathes
• Previous experience in a high-mix, low-volume environment

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive hourly pay (based on experience)
• 25% shift differential for 2nd shift and weekend shift
• Paid for 40 hours while working only 36 hours (weekend shift)

Work Schedule Options

• 1st Shift (Training Shift): Monday Thursday | 5:00 AM 3:30 PM
• 2nd Shift: Monday Thursday | 3:30 PM 2:00 AM Includes 25% shift differential
• Weekend Shift: Friday Sunday | 6:00 AM 6:00 PM Work 36 hours, get paid for 40 Includes 25% shift differential

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Shakopee, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $40.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
