Senior Corporate Development Analyst

The Role Lumen’s Corporate Development team drives the company’s inorganic growth strategy through acquisition, divestiture and investment opportunities. The Senior Corporate Development Analyst supports all aspects of M&A and divestiture transactions, working closely with senior leadership and cross‑functional teams. Work Location Denver‑based, preference for Denver metro location or relocation. Qualified remote U.S. candidates may be considered. Main Responsibilities Lead detailed financial modeling for M&A, investment and partnership opportunities, including valuation, scenario, synergy and impact analysis. Synthesize cross‑functional information to develop models and assess target company fit. Summarize models to help decision makers evaluate strengths and risks. Structure and manage projects from ideation to completion, including due‑diligence, data room management and stakeholder coordination. Maintain industry, operational and strategic awareness to inform research and analysis. Maintain a trading and transaction comps database, publish executive‑ready updates. Communicate effectively with project teams and senior leadership. Remain flexible and effective in a fast‑paced, tight‑constraint environment. What We Look For in a Candidate 2+ years in investment banking, corporate development, private equity, valuation advisory, or related M&A roles. Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills, strong work ethic and curiosity. Critical thinking and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment. Strong understanding of the M&A process and financial modeling proficiency. High proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint). Prior telecom or technology experience preferred. Interest in emerging technology trends, passion to advance initiatives beyond expectations. Compensation This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current data. Minimums and maximums may vary by location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other factors.
