Job Description As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Incident Response in Greensboro, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Security Officer supporting a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to situations as they arise. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $21.43 / Hour Job Schedule DayTimeThur09:00 AM - 09:00 PMFri09:00 AM - 06:00 PMSat09:00 AM - 06:00 PMun02:00 PM - 06:00 PM What You'll Do Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a government location. Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site and Allied Universal procedures. Monitor access points and verify authorization for entry as directed, maintaining awareness of visitor activity and restricted areas. Prepare accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and security-related concerns to appropriate personnel and public service partners as required. Minimum Requirements Possess 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or a college degree. Possess an Armed Guard Card or License. Be at least 21 years of age. Possess 5 or more years of security-related experience. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
