Description: CERTIFIED MEDICAL ASSISTANT (CMA) - Primary Care
Bluffton, SC | Full-Time | Temp-to-Perm
$23-$25/hour (based on experience)

We are seeking an experienced, patient-focused Certified Medical Assistant who thrives in a fast-paced clinic environment and enjoys building strong relationships with patients while delivering exceptional clinical support.

Responsibilities:
• Room patients and prepare for provider visits
• Obtain and document vitals, medical history, medications, and chief complaints
• Assist providers with office procedures and patient flow
• Prepare exam and procedure rooms and maintain supplies
• Provide patient education and reinforce treatment plans and instructions
• Coordinate testing, referrals, imaging, and follow-up appointments
• Perform medication reconciliation and accurate EMR documentation
• Assist with prior authorizations, forms, and clinical messaging as needed
• Support vascular and circulatory patient populations with professionalism and compassion
• Maintain infection prevention and clinical quality standards

Qualifications:
• Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA, CCMA, RMA, NCMA or equivalent)
• Minimum 1+ year of outpatient clinical experience preferred
• Experience in primary care
• Comfortable multitasking and managing a high-volume patient schedule
• Strong EMR and computer skills (Epic experience a plus)
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Current BLS certification preferred
