The candidate will lead a cross functional efforts to identify and shape new opportunities (using standard templates and scoring) to reduce supply chain fragility, improve Affordability, increase Readiness, and protecting Strategic/Foundational Capabilities through the Make Buy Process while balancing and satisfying multiple strategic objectives. By coordinating with Operations & Strategy, Industrial Development, Business Development, Small Business, and Procurement, the manager ensures each opportunity is both valuable and resilient, guiding it from concept through execution. Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. Oversees the status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports. Monitors the assessment of project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
