We are seeking an experienced and motivated Social Media Intern to join our team. This internship will support all facets of social media for Mortgage Matchup Center, while playing a key role in broader department initiatives. This role will report to our Senior Social Media Coordinator for Mortgage Matchup Center. Your Role On The Team Develop new content strategies for showcasing all the types of events that happen at Mortgage Matchup Center, specifically focused on IG and TikTok Create daily social media content tailored to platform-specific best practices, ensuring optimized engagement and brand consistency Assist in maintaining the social media calendar Engage in community management and customer response across social channels with fans Leverage trending topics and conversations in real-time to capitalize on content opportunities to amplify the voice of Mortgage Matchup Center and other properties. Perform social media tasks on event days by shooting photography, filming fan TikToks and posting across social media channels in real time Quickly recognize and react to trends to grow the Mortgage Matchup Center TikTok account Collaborate with Arena Marketing team on fully integrated marketing plans for event promotion and event fan experiences Other duties as assigned. Your Skills And Experience Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment A passion for entertainment, music and events Excellent oral and written communication skills Possesses a high level of confidentiality to handle sensitive information Ability to be professional with high-profile talent A passion for social media strategy and community building online Ability to work a flexible schedule, including long hours, evenings, weekends, holidays Experience/ Education Requirements High school diploma or GED Previous internship or college experience in managing social pages in entertainment space (preferred) Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite/Premiere/Photoshop (preferred) Experienced content creator, shooter, and editor to execute content in real time across multiple platforms (preferred) Experience supporting social strategies across Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, Threads, Snapchat, and other emerging platforms Subject matter expert on social media platforms Demonstrated ability to conceptualize and create unique social content The Team & Experience We believe great organizations are built by great people.
