Role Description S2RC is seeking a motivated Social Media & Content Marketing Intern to support content production, channel execution, and lead-generation marketing across our commercial safety and defense lines of business. The Social Media & Content Marketing Intern will work under the guidance of senior S2RC personnel and contribute to consistent publishing, short-form video production, and measurable growth in audience engagement. This role is ideal for candidates with foundational marketing or multimedia skills and a desire to grow in content production and brand execution. Candidates will receive clear direction, working examples, and ongoing feedback, with the goal of building real-world skills and a portfolio of published work. Key Responsibilities Short-Form Content Production: Create Reels and Shorts to support consistent weekly posting, and repurpose long-form video, interviews, and internal materials into short clips. Channel Execution: Draft platform-ready copy for posts, captions, and video descriptions, and assist with scheduling and publishing across LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube. Long-Form Video Support: Assist with editing longer videos for YouTube and the website, including topic outlines, basic scripts, titles, and descriptions. Content Capture: Capture photo and video content in-office and at client or industry events, and help build shot lists and repeatable formats for faster production. Blog and Written Support: Draft outlines, first drafts, and light edits for website blog posts based on planned topics and existing S2RC materials. Performance Tracking: Track engagement and reach metrics, report simple weekly takeaways, and recommend adjustments based on what is driving inquiries. Brand Alignment: Ensure all published content follows S2RC brand standards and adapts tone appropriately between commercial safety and defense audiences. Requirements Enrolled for Fall 2027 in Marketing, Communications, Business, Multimedia, or a related field. Strong writing and proofreading skills with a professional tone. Familiarity with LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube. Experience with at least one video editing tool (Premiere Pro, CapCut, Final Cut, or similar). Proficient with Microsoft 365 (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook). Organized and detail oriented, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines. Able to work independently and collaborate in a team environment. U.S. Citizenship required. Proof of citizenship will be required at hire. Preferred Qualifications Prior internship, freelance, or campus media experience producing published social content. Basic photo and video fundamentals (framing, lighting, clean audio). Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud. Familiarity with AI-assisted content tools for drafting, editing, and asset generation, with an understanding of when human review is required.
