Compensation Analyst

Job Description

The Compensation Analyst is responsible for supporting compensation programs across the organization by ensuring competitive, equitable, and compliant pay practices. This role partners with managers and business leaders to review and create job descriptions, conduct market benchmarking and pay surveys, evaluate job grades and FLSA classifications, and analyze compensation data to ensure alignment across salary structures and pay bands. The Compensation Analyst prepares reports, reviews offers, identifies compensation inconsistencies, and provides guidance on compensation-related initiatives. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate compensation strategies and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels of the organization while supporting multiple projects and process improvements.

Skills and Requirements

Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or related field. 5+ years of compensation experience (Compensation Analyst, Total Rewards, Compensation Consultant, etc.). Hands-on experience with market pricing, salary surveys, benchmarking, pay grades, salary structures, and job evaluations. Strong compensation analysis skills, including internal equity, market competitiveness, pay trends, and compensation recommendations. Experience with MarketPay or Payfactors Knowledge of FLSA Total rewards experience Oracle experience (HRIS system) Certifications (CCP)
