Beverage Barback

Join the Food and Beverage Team at Fairmount Park Casino & Racing! The Role: As a Beverage Barback, you will be cleaning and stocking public and/or service bars, ensuring bartenders have necessary beverages and bar supplies on hand to service guests.

• Stocking beverage outlets with wine, bottled beer and other beverages
• Monitoring pump room
• Washing glasses, bar, and equipment and polishing bar fixtures
• Restocking bar supplies
• Cleaning bar area including floors, counters and other surfaces
• Removing empty bottles and trash
• Assisting with the cleanliness of the casino property Front and Heart of House
• Performing all tasks in accordance with established policies and guest service standards
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license issued by the Illinois Gaming Board
• Must have high school diploma or equivalent
• Must have six months or more related experience

Physical Demands & Work Environment:

• Regularly required to see, talk and hear; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms; stand and walk
• Must occasionally lift and lift up to 25 pounds
• Frequently required to stoop, crouch or kneel
• Ability to interact with others while maintaining a courteous and positive demeanor

Compensation:

• $15.00/hr plus tips
