The patients are prescribed massage therapy by the treating chiropractor and the successful Massage Therapist will build rapports with these patients and furthermore: improve their overall quality of life through effective treatment.What You’ll DoPrepare the massage roomSanitize the massage room in between patients and at the end of a shiftCommunicate with patients coworkers and ordering ChiropractorDeliver personalized care to patients depending on their injuries and needsAssist the Team in any way possible during down timeArrive to work punctuallyUtilize UKG for time-keepingOther duties as assignedWho You AreStamina to perform 50-minute massages for the entirety of a shiftCommunication skillsCustomer service skillsAttention to detailAdaptabilityHand-eye coordinationEducation and ExperienceActive Idaho Massage Therapy license requiredExperience working with musculoskeletal injuriesAt least two years of experience preferredPhysical RequirementsProlonged periods of activity Physical strength and stamina to comfortably massage patients for 50 minutes at a time Ability to massage for the entirety of a shift Sitting standing walking reaching above shoulder length working with body bent over at waist working in kneeling position climbing stairs climbing ladders working with arms extended at shoulder length lifting maximum of 20 lbs.Motor Vehicle Report MonitoringIn the event Employee does not maintain the insurance coverage required under this Policy & Procedure and/or does not maintain a valid license to operate a motor vehicle that Employee shall not be eligible for mileage reimbursement and is barred from operating any motor vehicle in furtherance of Company business.
