About This Role The Registered Nurse functions as a caregiver for a specific patient population to achieve desired outcomes, focusing on expanding knowledge and skills while providing effective direct care as part of an interdisciplinary team. Highlights Pay: $46 - $46/hour Location: Brick, NJ Facility: Hackensack Meridian Health Schedule: Full-time, Evening shift What You'll Do Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or situation. Perform age and disease-specific assessments independently. Recognize clinical and diagnostic status changes in patient status. Identify patient/family education needs based on age and disease. Develop a plan of care with strategies and interventions to attain expected outcomes. Communicate, coordinate, and implement the plan of care. Provide ongoing communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members. Implement age and disease-specific care in an organized manner. Administer medications utilizing advancements in bar-scanning technology. Evaluate progress toward attainment of outcomes. Requirements Education Associate in Nursing or diploma of Nursing degree required BSN in progress or willingness to acquire within three (3) years of hire Experience Six (6) months of relevant nursing experience required Three (3) years of med/surg or Telemetry nursing experience preferred Licenses & Certifications Current and valid New Jersey Nursing license required BLS/CPR certification by American Heart Association required within 60 days of hire About Hackensack Meridian Health Hackensack Meridian Health is a leading healthcare provider committed to delivering exceptional patient care.
