School Partnerships Manager (Field-Based)

Role Overview As the School Partnerships Manager at Daivergent, you will build relationships with high school special education departments throughout Arizona and introduce schools to Daivergent’s school-based, VR-funded Pre-Employment Transition Services (Pre-ETS) programs. These programs focus on job exploration counseling, work-based learning experiences, higher education counseling, workplace readiness training, and self-advocacy instruction through virtual group coaching. You will serve as Daivergent’s in-person presence at schools, Arizona vocational rehabilitation offices, conferences, community events, and program launches. Although Daivergent’s instruction is delivered virtually by remote coaches, you will build trust locally, collect referral paperwork, coordinate technology delivery, help set up laptops, support students during the initial days of service, and troubleshoot on-site issues. This is a highly independent, field-based role responsible for opening new school partnerships and helping eligible students enroll. Success will be measured primarily by the number of new school relationships established and the number of new students successfully brought into Daivergent programs. The ideal candidate brings recent, direct experience supporting high school students with disabilities and can communicate credibly with special education teachers, transition staff, principals, and district leaders. You should be energized by a schedule that may include long drives, multi-night hotel stays, changing weekly locations, and substantial autonomy in building a statewide territory. This is a full-time, nonexempt W-2 position. The anticipated start date is mid-October 2026, with an earlier start preferred. Key Responsibilities School and Agency Partnership Development Build relationships with special education departments at district, charter, private, alternative, rural, and tribal-community high schools throughout Arizona. Meet in person and virtually with special education teachers, transition staff, principals, district administrators, vocational rehabilitation counselors, and community leaders to explain Daivergent’s programs, answer detailed questions, and assess fit. Represent Daivergent at schools, vocational rehabilitation offices, conferences, family and community events, and other settings where a trusted local presence is important, including occasional evening and weekend events. Move prospective school partners from initial outreach through program commitment and launch, while maintaining an organized pipeline and consistent follow-up. Secure and coordinate signed referral forms, IEP/504/disability documentation, and other enrollment materials needed to onboard students Program Launch and Field Operations Coordinate the receipt or pickup of laptops and related materials at a Phoenix-area office location, transport equipment to school sites, and maintain appropriate custody of Daivergent technology while traveling. Travel throughout Arizona for school launches, including drives of three to four hours between cities and multi-night hotel stays. Deliver and help set up multiple laptops (sometimes in quantities of up to approximately 40) before classes begin. Attend the first days of new programs when needed, assist teachers and students with laptop, Zoom, and connectivity setup, troubleshoot on-site issues, and coordinate a smooth transition to Daivergent’s virtual coaches and ongoing school-relationship staff. Pipeline Management and Internal Collaboration Document outreach, meetings, school needs, referral progress, and follow-up activity accurately and promptly Partner with the CEO and internal program, enrollment, operations, and coaching teams to prioritize territories, resolve launch barriers, and convert school interest into student participation. Communicate local feedback and emerging school needs so Daivergent can strengthen its transition programming, technology support, and school implementation practices. Support active school relationships and resolve implementation issues as needed while Daivergent continues to expand the team responsible for ongoing partner management. Key Requirements Professional Experience At least three years of direct experience within the past five years supporting high-school students with disabilities in a special education, transition, vocational, or closely related setting. (Preferred) Experience as a special education teacher, transition or Transition from School to Work specialist, job coach, vocational high-school professional, vocational rehabilitation professional, or Pre-ETS or work-based learning staff member Education High school diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in special education or a related field. A special education credential or teaching certification is also preferred. Technical & Work Environment General Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM Arizona Time Based in the Phoenix metropolitan area, with an appropriate home-based work environment when not traveling or working on-site. Please note that we are not able to consider candidates based outside of Arizona at this time. Willing and able to spend approximately 50% of working time traveling outside the Phoenix metro area, frequently staying in hotels for several consecutive nights and occasionally traveling on evenings or weekends. Available to travel to New York City approximately one to two times per year for training and company meetings. Valid driver's license and a driving record that meets Daivergent's and/or its automobile insurance carrier's requirements. Required business travel may be completed using a personal vehicle and/or a company-provided or rental vehicle, based on business needs. Daivergent reimburses approved mileage and other approved travel expenses in accordance with Company policy. Ability to pass required background checks, obtain and maintain an Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Ability to safely transport and set up laptops and related equipment with or without reasonable accommodation, and work proficiently in Google Workspace, Zoom, CRM platforms, and other digital systems.
